Artist's Comments

Today being the 3rd day of 3ds Max, I am lovin' every bit of it. I recently drew a photoshop version of this creation. You can see how photoshop was holding me back. Please leave suggestions and comments

Looks great, like this.

it would be amazing to have a computer made out of water, let alone a robot! i mean, it would be fail-safe and indestructible in some senses. my imagination runs wild with water-filled technology :) its got a cool (excuse the pun) concept, and the reflections/refractions are spiffy. i like how we can see from the front, side and top... it gives us some insight. well done on this render, and keep up the good work

well said Ev',

Thanks for the outstanding comment. And just just like you and I am obsessed with robotics and those made up of liquid. What comes to mind is the movie "abyss." That underwater civilization could manipulate water to perform functions. In one scene they turn water into a human face and it wonders about the descovery ship. Another movie that comes to mind is "Terminator II and III" They learn how to give AI to molten metal with the T-1000. Thanks again.

This piece is very strange, because it was the first project with 3d Studio Max 5. It was rendered only 3 days after installing 3ds max. For some reason everything just came together perfectly and it gets all attention on my deva site.

Sad thing is, I have not produced much that has stole the fame from Mr. "water robotics"
